Joint Venture Announced

Redwine Resources, a producer in the southern Atlantic Rim coalbed methane trend, has entered into a Joint Venture with Aqua EWP to develop and field a new produced water treatment technology using capacitance deionization, for both its own use and for marketing to industry. The technology uses a mechanism for ion removal that is very similar to a hybrid combination of Capacitive DeIonization (CDI) and Electro-DeIonization (EDI). The technology uses a hybrid electrode comprised of activated carbon, nano materials and a semipermeable coating. Case Studies will be presented on brackish water, brackish waste water and 5 year history on supply water.

Authors from Redwine and Aqua EWP present preliminary results from the field test of Rewine’s and Aqua EWP’s 250-bwpd processing test unit on a CBM pod in Carbon County, Wyoming, along with data from previous tests of the equipment.
